LUCY IS TERRIFIED OF MEN
Lucy is a gorgeous, 4 year old crossbreed who was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania.
We are all aware of the horrendous treatment the dogs can receive from dog catchers etc in these shelters and it is very clear that Lucy has been the subject of abuse by men. In the 15 years of running the rescue, we have NEVER come across a dog so traumatised and terrified of men.
Yet.....with women she is fabulous. She will happily be handled, go a walk. snuggle up and demand belly rubs.
We would say that Lucy's new home should have no children or visiting children. She could live with another dog(s) and/or cats.
She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and assessed.
Her adoption fee will be negotiated with her new owners.
