Islay Dog Rescue could not survive without the loving dedication and support of volunteers, foster families and sponsors who dedicate their time, homes and contributions to help dogs who have found themselves in dog pounds, specifically death row shelters.

WHO WE ARE

A Distinct Identity

Islay Dog Rescue is a non-profit volunteer organisation operated by Lorraine Jardine and a dedicated band of volunteers from Glen Islay Farm, a small-holding near Cumnock, on the South-West Coast of Scotland.

 

We have rehomed dogs to adopters who had been turned down or experienced difficulty rehoming with other rescue organisations.  Please be assured that we treat each and every case on it's own merit and we make no sweeping judgements, eg. "you can't rehome a dog from us because you live in a flat"
